Volunteering

Volunteers with Carlow Regional Youth Services are part of a team, working to empower young people throughout the county. While offering a comprehensive Youth Service to young people in the Carlow area, with community based projects in Graiguecullen and New Oak/Tullow Road areas, and The Vault in Burrin Street, there is also a strong focus on working in surrounding areas such as Tullow, Hacketstown, Bagenalstown and Borris.

Volunteers have an opportunity to support the work of Carlow Regional Youth Services and engage with young people to share skills and enhance youth work programmes. We regard volunteers as a valuable resource and encourage them to get involved at all levels of the organisation and within all appropriate activities. Once all training and Garda Vetting has been completed, Volunteers are matched with a suitable project. Volunteers will receive training, regular supervision & support and may be offered additional training if the opportunity arises.

If you are interested in Volunteering with Carlow Regional Youth Services we would love to hear from you! Please email your details to our Volunteer Co-ordinator Karen Mullins at karen@carlowys.ie for an application form.
